Screen Learning Wins prestigious BETT award

Screen Learning is delighted to announce that it has won a prestigious BETT Award for its groundbreaking educational assessment software.

The company beat off strong competition from established educational software providers to win the e-Assessment for Learning category for its online Smart Cat Profiling tool.

Screen Learning's innovative computer games are designed to help teachers assess the strengths and needs of children as soon as they start school, and throughout their early years education. The games assess skills which underpin reading, spelling, mental arithmetic, social functioning, language use, motor control and memory, as well as hearing and colour vision.

Screen Learning was one of just a handful of companies to scoop a national BETT Award during a special ceremony at The Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London. Now in their 10th year, the awards play a key role in identifying and rewarding innovative ICT products and services for use in education. More than 260 companies entered the awards.

Screen Learning's founder John Dorman said: "We are thrilled and delighted to have won a prestigious BETT award. Reaching the final shortlist was a fantastic achievement but being judged as the leaders in our field by an independent panel of experts is the icing on the cake."
